WHAT CXD DOES
The Centre for Experience Design (CXD) is a member of the Technology and Innovation Centres of Singapore Polytechnic.
There are 2 areas in CXD: Creativity, Innovation & Enterprise (CIE) Infusion, and Applied Research & Innovation (ARI).
CXD manages and runs the IDEA Module - Innovative Design & Enterprise in Action - the platform for unleashing CIE. IDEA Module is compulsory for all 1st Year students from all disciplines. SP is the 1st and only IHL in Singapore to implement this.
Since 2004, more than 300 lecturers and 10 000 students have completed the IDEA Module.
The applied research and innovation unit of CXD advocates the multi-disciplinary convergence of Design, Business and Technology.
Convergence results in the creation of unique and original products, services and experiences for the Creative Economy. This is brought forth via workshops, seminars and collaborative consultancy projects with internal and external partners.
